Tell me about yourself! How old are you, and where are you from?
My name is Kimberly Stanfield. I am a resident in Danville VA. I work as and have worked as a mental health counselor for 12 years after graduating twice from Liberty University - BS Psychology and Religion / MA Marriage and Family Counseling. I am 33 years of age a single mother to the pride and joys of my life Jazzylyn ( 7) and Jaris Jr. (10). At current, this is my second publication as I am striving to build my professional portfolio. I am at this time in training with CLI undergoing training and classes in hopes of earning a ministerial license.
Give us a summary of your book!
The Healing & Transition Guide is a simple tool and self-help guide that helps one restore and work on self in regards to embracing purpose, understanding, and healing from trauma, The Self Help Guide discusses the highs and lows of the healing process and introduces interventions to assist all in undergoing the processes needed to heal and transition.
What inspired you to write this book?
I just recently evoked and underwent a period of healing and transition personally and in dealing with this I decided to address the processes that occur when one seeks to find their fulfilled purpose, calling, and vision. I found myself feeling very misunderstood as I went thru this and decided to share factors of the process that kept me strong and striving.

Have you written any fiction novels as well? If not, would you and what genre?
I am at this time working on my first fiction novel which is called A Enchanted Journey. it's a short story for children as a young lady raised by a family of bears takes a stroll thru the woods and has many encounters with animals of the wild give her advice on life.

I don't at this time have a least favorite book, I have learned something even if it was something small in nature from all the books I read and study from.
Do you have any other hobbies or businesses that you would like to share?
My hobbies include collecting vintage clothing, I am a painter as well and enjoy drawing and crafting, I love summer vacations with my family and biking. I currently am the CEO of my own lipstick Company - Kisses By Kim and I am working to brand my own ministry for women entitled Her versus Her where the slogan is she is her only competition.

I have always had a heart and passion to write since I was a young child. Writing cleanses my soul and it has been thru my experiences that writing has given me a platform to not just minister, but to help others in this journey we all travel and navigate thru known as life. The Healing and Transition guide is my first self-published work and I am excited to see the positive effects that it will have on society in general. Continue to pray for me and support me as I don't plan on retiring my hands anytime soon; as writing is very much a huge role in my life., along with all other talents.
