I’m 29 and I’m from Detroit, MI.
Tell us more about your book!
It’s a contemporary fantasy novel about an established writer returning home to write a biography of her hometown. Along the way she stumbles upon a murder mystery and an ancient form of magic.

My book is a culturally and historically rich story of magic, love and murder.
What does your ideal writing space look like?
Very neutral with a lot of natural light to avoid distractions. Or in my bed at 5am with a dozen pillows and food around me.
If your book was turned into a movie, who would play your main characters?
Me!
You’re stranded on an island, and only one character from any book can save you. Who are you picking?
Uncle Preston. He stays ready.
Besides being a writer, what else do you enjoy?
I love teaching. My degree is in anthropology so adventuring and traveling is essential to my being.
