I am 43 years old, wife, mother of two, athlete, author, from Ohio.
Tell us more about your book!
Because of You is a part of the Serenity Series and is the ending part to Promise to Keep. It is of course a love story that was twelve years in the making. Two young lovers torn apart by circumstance and personal demons must find their way through the turmoil and the secrets that not only have they kept from those close to them but from each other as well. For those who have read Promise to Keep it ended without Donte and his sister knowing who their father was and what happened to their mother. I am having Promise to Keep re-edited and will re-release that one before Because of You becomes available.

Because of You will take you on an emotional roller coaster that will leave you wrapped around Donte and Mia, wanting more of their story.
What does your ideal writing space look like?
My idea writing space, would first and foremost be quiet! All I need is a computer, my Keurig, some snacks, and a comfortable chair.
If your book was turned into a movie, who would play your main characters?
Ah great question, for Because of You I’d want to new actors. Some one that fit the description and had great chemistry. I wouldn’t want someone known because I do not feel like they would get the story across. I’d want new faces. So I guess I can’t really answer that question, lol.
You’re stranded on an island, and only one character from any book can save you. Who are you picking?
I’d have to say JaQuan from Beautiful Storm written by me. He’s my favorite character.
Besides being a writer, what else do you enjoy?
I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a three year old and a 12 year old, and my husband who is my best friend. Us laughing and goofing on our twelve year old or my two sons arguing as if they’re around the same age is priceless time that I don’t get enough of.
Do you have any upcoming book promotions?
I will be doing a book basket with my books and souvenirs along with a gift cards. And then I will do a few raffles for gift cards. I’m still a while away from the new book being ready but these are some of the things I have in the works.
