Whew chile! This book is my best project yet *pats self on back*
In this book 'The Prescription of Superwoman' I share my test to testimony of going from bedridden, wheelchair bound, semi-paralyzed and inability to read or write (even though I have some college education) to now an entrepreneur, mompreneur, business owner and now an author. For so long I hid my story scared of what others would think. Now, I truly believe God used me and my test to be that testimony for others
What inspired you to write this book?
My inspiration came from the broken woman I may never meet. The woman suffering from mental illness who smiles every day even though she’s crying inside. The single mother trying to make ends meet. They became the inspiration from sharing my story and ending the silence. I wanted to help them. I wanted them to know they weren’t alone and there is help. Each time I wanted to quit or rethink things, I imagine them. I couldn’t let them down
If you could pick one song to describe this book, what would it be?
Won’t He Do It by Koryn Hawthorne
Have you written any fiction novels as well? If not, would you and what genre?
I have not and can’t see myself doing so. I must say there is a special talent for those who can create scenarios, characters, places and things then to bring them to life …. man! I am not that talented! I’ll stick with the self-help/relationship/share my story to help others kind of author
What are two of your favorite books? Least favorite?
My two favorites are Colliding with Destiny by Sarah Jakes and Don’t Be a Wife to a Boyfriend by Shonda Brown White
Least favorite is…God Where is My Boaz? By Stephan Labossiere
Do you have any other hobbies, or businesses that you would like to share?
I love spending time with my mentors. I truly believe we as business owners and people in general should have mentors. Someone (s) who keep us accountable.
Outside of reading, writing, shopping… I LOVE spending time with my niece and nephew. They remind me to live in the moment, smile, apologize, love everyone and moms know everything …lol
