How old are you and where are you from?

I am 29 years old. I live in Bensalem Pennsylvania but I was born in Detroit Michigan. My reason for moving to the east coast was to finally pursue my degree in social work. I ended up finding my way back to my passion for writing in the process.


Tell us more about your book!

My book No Apologies is based on the true story of my abusive relationship I was in back in 2017. It's written through a fictional character and from an addiction perspective to educate people why a victim stays.


You’re sharing an elevator with a big name publisher. Pitch your book using 20 words or less!

No Apologies is about the trials and tribulations of a woman who fell in love with a broken man.


What does your ideal writing space look like?

My ideal writing space would be an area rug of the astrology signs. Bean bags surround sound speakers for my background music which would be a little of neo-soul r&b and hip hop and my 420 session of course.


If your book was turned into a movie, who would play your main characters?

I'm not sure I would have to do some serious cast calls to see who could bring out Nicole and Rodney


You’re stranded on an island, and only one character from any book can save you. Who are you picking?

I would want Gee from the book Heavens hell by Takerra Allen to save me if I was stranded on an island.


Besides being a writer, what else do you enjoy?

I love listening to music, traveling, being a motivational speaker and bringing awareness to restoring and breaking cycle of the broken family dynamic.


Do you have any upcoming book promotions?

Not at the moment. I am in the process of writing my second book out of darkness.
