How old are you and where are you from?

I am 33 years young (lol) and from San Antonio, TX but currently live in Austin, TX.

Side note: I’m not a Spurs fan or a Cowboys fan. GO Lakers and Eagles!)

Tell us more about your book!

This book is one of the four books teaching kids financial literacy. The book series

will consist of debt, entrepreneurship, money management, and investing. I feel

these are the foundational principles to building wealth and understanding

money. Our children need to learn these financial principles now not when they

are an adult and making the same mistakes as we did. The reason why I started

with debt and included in the series is because, if we are honest debt is the

biggest reason why it is hard for us to build wealth or holds us back for a time

period. This book is a great way for parents to introduce and teach their children about

debt in a fun way that they will understand!

You’re sharing an elevator with a big name publisher. Pitch your book using 20 words or less!

The key to financial wealth is in this book. Why would you not share this with your

children?

What does your ideal writing space look like?

I have a husband, 3 kids, I’m a math teacher, and a cheerleader coach so if I can

get ANY space to myself I’ll take it. Even if it is in a closet!

If your book was turned into a movie, who would play your main characters?

Well I based the main characters after my boys so I would let them play their roles

but to play the mom (which is me) I would say Tracy Ellen Ross because everyone

always says we look alike and her personality is very similar to mine.

You’re stranded on an island, and only one character from any book can save you. Who are you

picking?

UMMMMM, let’s see…..Jayden because he is resourceful and resilient!

Besides being a writer, what else do you enjoy?

I am a Texas girl so yes I love to watch FOOTBALL.

In Texas it is God, Family, and Football!
